Compound interest calculator

Information is valuable, and good information even more so. In these credit-stressed times a better control over one's finances helps not only the individual but the positive effect accumulates across society. It therefore follows the theme behind the Otoom model.

This program helps to plan one's financial affairs. Deposits for interest-bearing accounts, making regular deposits, finding the amount needed to withdraw at regular intervals; basic loans, roll-overs, paying an additional amount, and changing the repayments. Have them all in one program.

Create entire scenarios combining several modules, compare the total costs (including interest paid and the total costs overall) and make an informed choice before a lender is approached. Tag the modules to keep them apart for later reference.

Note: the results do not include fees and charges and the rules imposed by different types of lenders (banks, building societies, credit unions, etc).

Version 1.6 is now available (improved user input, interest rates allow for 3 decimal places).
