The program is subject to copyright as outlined in Disclaimer and legal notices.
This includes the AI Engine and the associated processes dealing with the transfer of in- and output, as well as specially designed procedures due to the hybrid nature of the program (ie, integrating the .Net Microsoft platform for Windows forms and the WPF format with the C++/OpenGL platforms).
The splash screen is a modification derived from "Per Pixel Alpha Blend in C#" by Rui Lopes, http://www.codeproject.com/KB/GDI-plus/perpxalpha_sharp.aspx.
The graphics in ShapeWorld use the OpenGL framework.
Video from the web cam is handled by AForge.NET.
Audio recording and replay makes use of IrrKlang.
Audio for ShapeWorld uses XAudio2 by Microsoft®.
Knots are explained wonderfully on Paul Bourke's page Knots. I took it from there.
The rest would not have been possible without the invaluable help found on such sites as Stackoverflow, Java2s, Codeproject, Dotnetperls, Daniweb, Csharp-examples, and of course the Microsoft website with its many tips and tutorials.
